With your registration you acknowledge the general contract and travel conditions of Ski-Hostel. The registration can be made in writing (registration form), by phone / in person or via our website. We will confirm your stay by e-mail within five days after receiving your registration. If the desired package is already booked, we will inform you immediately and suggest an alternative.
Flights : Flight booking is the responsibility of the participants. Please book the flights only after you have received the definitive registration confirmation and the flight data sheet.
2. PAYMENT
After the registration, you will receive a registration confirmation and a payment slip asking for a deposit of 250 Euro per booked person and week. This amount must be transferred to our account within ten days. In addition, you will receive an invoice for the final payment, which must be paid no later than 30 days before the beginning of the holiday. If the registration is made less than 30 days before the start of the package, the entire invoice amount must be paid.
3. CANCELLATIONS
The cancellation of the contract has to be communicated with us by registered letter as soon as possible. If you withdraw from the contract, the following cancellation fees are due:
- more than 30 days before the beginning of the package: Euro 150
- 29 to 14 days before the beginning of the package: Euro 250
- 13 to 7 days before the beginning of the package: 50% of the package price (min. Euro 350)
- 7 to 1 day (s) before the beginning of the package: 90% (at least Euro 600)
There will be no refund from the first day of stay or in case of an early cancellation of the package. If the cancellation is due to proven serious medical or family reasons, please contact us at [email protected]. These costs are also refunded by a previously concluded cancellation insurance, which is the responsibility of the participants. Please note that the scope of service depends on the insurance company and the concluded conditions.
4. BOOKINGS AND REQUESTS
Transfers after departure
No refund will be given, if you decide to leave a package earlier or if you shorten the reserved program.
In case of changes of any kind (accommodation, package, etc.) we ask you to inform us immediately about your desires.
5. INSURANCE
Health and accident insurance
Insurance is responsibility of the participants.
In order to be protected in the event of a package cancellation, we recommend insurances that covers cancellations.
6. CANCELLATION BY SKI-HOSTEL
Ski-Hostel Switzerland : In an unlikely event that a Ski-Hostel package has to be cancelled, we'll offer you an alternative immediately or you will be refunded as soon as possible.
If a Ski-Hostel package is cancelled for reasons of force majeure, we will provide appropriate compensation.
In the event of cancellation due to force majeure, however, we recommend insurance that covers cancellations.
7. LIABILITY
Ski-Hostel assumes no liability whatsoever other than that which is required by law. Ski-Hostel is only liable for damages directly related to our services and at most with the amount paid to us. The period of liability is limited to the duration of stay and does not include the arrival and departure.
We do not accept any liability for valuables that are not deposited with our staff.
No liability is accepted for changes to the program due to delays or strikes. In particular, Ski-Hostel is not liable for changes to the program, which are attributed to force majeure, official measures or delays by third parties.
8. RIGHTS OF THE ORGANISER
We reserve the right to exclude participants from the package program without the right of a refund if they, in our opinion, threaten other participants or staff in any way.
9. PHOTOS, VIDEOS AND REFERENCES
We may use photos, videos and references that we make and receive during our activities for our website, brochures, or other promotional activities. Participants who do not agree to this may contact us in writing.
10. DISCLAIMER
Although the information on our website is continually updated and checked with regard to prices and scope of services of the packages, some information may not be correct. In this case, you can not rely on the information on the Ski-Hostel website. We will, however, inform you about any changes before you book the package.
11. PLACE OF JURISDICTION
Swiss law is applicable.
Place of jurisdiction is Sion.
If, contrary to expectations, there is an argument,
you can make your request to the independent Ombudsman of the Swiss Travel Agency -
www.ombudsmann-touristik.ch.
